Obituary for Eugene Barry Robinson
Eugene B. Robison, 60, of Manassas, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 8th, 2014. Born May 21, 1953, he was the son of the late Haymond Robison and Sharleen Wigner.
Eugene was an employee at Ruppert Landscaping in Laytonsville, Maryland. He also was a friend of the Ruppert family and loved spending time with them.
He was a chocolate lover, who enjoyed spending time with his family, watching golf, gardening, traveling to the beach, building houses, and laying brick. He also enjoyed cruising with his family.
He is survived by a son, Eugene M. Robison and daughter, Kathy Cockrell, both of Front Royal, VA; two sisters, Ruth Cecil and Sharon Robison, both of Manassas, VA; five brothers, James Robison, of Elkwood, VA, Roger Robison, of Strasburg, VA, Hayward Robison, of Rileyville, VA, Kenny Robison, of Luray, VA, and Richard Robison, of Front Royal, VA; five granddaughters, Haillie, Samantha, Mackenzie, Nikki, and Jordan. Eugene was also survived by Gaynell Cantrell and Nishia Robison.
Eugene was always there for his brothers and sisters to help in any way possible. The family would like to send a special thanks to Ruth and Bobby Cecil for taking such great care of their brother, father, and grandfather this past year and a half.
Eugene has gone home to be with the Lord, as well as his parents, brothers and sister.
The family will receive friends Monday, April 14th, 2014 from 5:00-7:00p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Randall Anderson, will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
