On July 4, 2016, Elizabeth “Betty” Anne Buser of Manassas, Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by her St. Michael’s Anglican church family.

Born on March 31, 1927, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Anna (Barker) Buser.

Betty was raised in Washington, D.C. and a graduate of George Washington University where she also worked in various areas of the university admissions. Betty retired from GW in 1991 after 41 years. Additionally, Betty was a loyal member of the Constitution Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and a member of Delta Zeta Sorority.

A celebration of life service will be held on July 12, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 15305 Vint Hill Road, Nokesville, VA, 20181.

Interment will be at Congressional Cemetery in Washington, D.C.

Memorial contributions should be made to the Alzheimers Association, 8180 Greensboro Dr. Suite 400, Mclean, VA, 22102.
