Condolences

Condolence From: CAPT D.E.ECHLIN USN
Condolence: Just learned that RADM Seely had passed. It was a pleasure to serve under him when he was CAG CVW-9, and COMMATVAQWINGPAC. He was an outstanding leader, Naval Officer, who set a high standard and one that I looked up to as a mentor, and later, a friend.

My condolences.

Dee Echlin

Condolence:
Nina & Ted, You have much to be proud of. Your father was such a kind and gentle man. I knew he was accomplished but one of the things I always admired about him was his modesty. Reading his obituary was quite illuminating as to the breadth of all he accomplished. Your father and your family served our country well.

I have fond memories of the incredible photos in your childhood home of him flying in formation, hearing stories of his So Cal beach lifeguarding days, and seeing the gorgeous b&w Hollywood-esque childhood photos of your mother. Both of your parents were such respectable people. I'm grateful to have known them.

Condolence: One of the greatest men I have ever met. He was a positive influence in all young boys who became men under his leadership in VA-165. He will be forever missed by all those who knew him. The red shirts loved him and would follow him to the end.
