Hi Robin and Jessica Our deepest condolences for the loss of a terrific man, a good friend, and a great husband and father to you two. I worked with John his entire time here at FERC and we became good friends. He was a special guy! We both loved the out-of-doors, fishing, and photography. It was great to work with him for a couple years when we did sports photography together. One of his last emails to me, in response to my thread of sending him recent photos I had taken, was "to keep them coming!" I am sorry we never got to take that standing offer I had made to him, that while coming to DC to the doctor, to stop over and you, John, and I would have lunch together--with me treating. Apparently, health kept declining and we never completed that offer. Everyone always remembers that John always wanted to retire to the southwest and perhaps have a pecan orchard. Many other fine memories of John! May he rest in peace and may you remember all the good things about him. best regards, rosemary and lee emery
