The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Mary Hedrick can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: barbara neale
Condolence: I just saw this obituary and recall Virginia as a very organized, hardworking, matter of fact, but kind Head Nurse . She worked on OB at Prince William Hospital . One day as she was walking down the hall she stopped in my room to pick up a rose petal that had fallen onto the floor! Her unit was so tidy. She ran a tight ship! Nice memories of that time. ( 42 years ago) Rest in peace , Virginia

Condolence: Charles, Frances and family I am so sorry for your loss. Virginia was a very special lady. I first met Virginia when I was in PW hospital having my first child many years ago and she was very caring and comforting to the new mothers. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. May you find peace and comfort in this difficult time. God Bless your family.

Condolence: 31 years ago I met Virginia. I was a soon to be first time mother with many issues landing me in the hospital for over 3 months. She was the head OB unit nurse at the time. I will never forget our chats about family and friends. I'm so sorry for your family's loss. Your Mom was a great person.

Condolence: Dear Rich, Galina and family... I just want to express my condolences... I had never met your mom, but the integrity and values that I see in you Rich, tells me she was a great lady and a devoted mother to you... She enjoyed a long life, choosing a career in nursing that would let her show the caring and benevolent character that she had in her heart... You were there for her always Rich, and soon the pain and the grief you feel now will change to beautiful thoughts and memories that will last forever...
God bless your Mom and all of your family...
Sincerely, Tom
