Obituary for Dorothy Ann Patrick

Our beautiful mother, Dorothy Ann Patrick, 75, of Manassas, Virginia, went to be with our Lord and Savior on September 8, 2017.

She was born on November 10, 1941 in Washington D.C. to the late Orla Kirschman and Robert Walsh.

Our mother was an amazing lady full of fun, always making us smile with her spice for life and kind, loving disposition. Even though she had a disability caused by the aneurysm 11 years ago, she didn’t let that stop her. She attended all her granddaughter’s weddings, family outings and parties with a smile on her face and a kiss to our cheeks where she left her marking of red lipstick…something we will all miss.
Besides her parents, mom was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, George A. Patrick and her daughter, Laura L. Patrick.

She is survived by her 3 children, Colleen Jacobs (Calvin), Kathleen Moore, and Kevin Patrick (Susan); 10 grandchildren, Joe, Jamie, David, Kaitlin, Tara, Kerri, Ryan, Kieren, Zoie, and Danielle; 9 great-grandchildren, Paige, Hailey, Devon, Brayden, Lucas, Jay Jay (Jordan), Bristol, Hayden, and her name sake, Dorothy Grace. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Roberta Maykrantz and Janice Williams along with multiple nieces and nephews.

Mom will be dearly missed but we know she is now gliding on heavens dance floor with our dad.
Precious memories how they linger how they ever flood our soul.

Our family will receive visitors on Sunday, September 17, 2017, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, September 18, 2017 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas, Virginia.

Interment will be at Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
