When I moved to Nokesville and was looking for a church God sent me to Colchester Freewill Baptist where I met two of the most wonderful people; Pat and Dewey Powers. I could feel God's love radiating from these two and I knew that I had met some of God's angels here on earth. They supported me through times of illness and loss. I will miss Dewey very much. I know that God will continue to hold Pat's hand and provide her comfort through her loss. I hope that she will reach out to me if she needs someone to help comfort her in this time of loss.

My sweet cousin so many beautiful memories. We as children at Uncle Emily's and Aunt Nans. You with your guitar and motorcycle. Then my beautiful Patty joined you. No matter what you was always there for our Powers family and anyone else who needed you and Patty. Your light will forever shine through Patty, your children and their family. Also your music the traveling pilgrims. I love you and you will be missed by so many. Now you will sing again with your mom, dad, and Wayne in front of our Lord. Look over us from above and may Jesus wraps his arms around Patty and all of us. Until we meet again💖
This man was a great inspiration in our lives. My kids absolutely adored him. He inspired many through his music and encouragement in worshipping God. I'm blessed to have had him in my live for 38 years and to have a relationship with him that I called him brother instead of brother-in-law. There's now perfect harmony in Heaven as the angels stand back and hear the reunited voices of his, Nan, Emory, and Roger all joining in unison and singing AMAZING GRACE!
