The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Faniyi can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

Jeanette S.

I send my deepest sympathy to you at the loss of your dear one. The death of someone young especially hurts for the tragedy of a lifespan not fully lived; there was so much of life ahead. But death is not the end, for the Apostle Paul wrote, “And I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of …the righteous.” (Acts 24:15) Jesus revealed this truth when he raised his friend Lazarus to life again at John 11:39-44. This and other resurrection accounts are a demonstration of what God will do on a far grander scale in the paradise earth to come. The Bible’s promise of a resurrection does not remove the pain from your hearts. But try to imagine the happy reunion when John is welcomed back into the loving arms of friends and relatives! The thought of being able to hold him again can make your pain easier to bear.
