Obituary for Betty Jean Hooker
Betty ‘Jean’ Hooker, 73 of Manassas Park, died Thursday, January 18, 2018 at UVA Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Joseph Wesley Hooker, also of Manassas Park. Jean was born September 14, 1944 in Fairfax County; she was the daughter of Alexander Riley and Ola Catherine Riley.
She is survived by one son, James Hooker and his wife Celeste of Barboursville, VA; two daughters Sherry Jones of Culpeper, VA and Betty Jo Miles of Oklahoma; three sisters, Janet King of Manassas Park, Marie Siever of Quantico, and Arlene Patterson of North Carolina; and two brothers, James Riley of Manassas, VA and Franklin Riley of Brentsville, VA; and eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25th, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA 20110. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Highway, Manassas, VA 20109.
