Born March 8, 1956 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Arville and Helen Meade Keel.On April 16, 1994, she married Donny Richard Salyers, who survives. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Alan Graham. Surviving beside her husband of Nokesville, are one son, William Welch, III also of Nokesville; two sisters, Katrina Ball and her husband Richard of Jacksonville, FL; Cynthia Cameron and her husband Scott of Port St. Lucie, FL; one brother, Christopher Keel and his wife Tammy of Ashland; three step-children, Donna Conner and her husband Christopher of Mt. Jackson; Donny Salyers and his wife Farrah also of Mt. Jackson; Jennifer Smithwick and her husband Ben of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews; and nine step-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A celebration of Rita’s life will begin at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Mike Carter officiating. Interment will be private.
