Obituary:
Julia Barbara (Bobbie) Cockrell, 82, of Gainesville, passed away Wednesday, February 13th, 2013 at her home.

Born January 10th, 1931 in New York, New York, she was the daughter of Milton Candler and Julia Calev Hall. For over 20 years, Bobbie worked as an accountant for Electronic Warfare Associates (EWA). She was a longtime resident of Gainesville.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda Dashiell of Stafford, VA, and Karen Gallagher and her husband Charlie of Carmel, IN; one son, Phil Cockrell and his wife Kimberly of Gainesville, VA; two brothers, Craig Hall of Las Vegas, NV, and David Hall of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 17th, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18th, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Pastor Todd Tennant officiating.

Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Hwy Manassas, VA 20109.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St SE, Vienna, Virginia 22180.
