Frances C. Robinson, 88, of Haymarket, passed away June 22nd, 2010 at home.
Born July 19th, 1921, she was the daughter of Charles and Bertha Jones Pullen. On February 21st, 1942 in Independent Hill, VA, she married Andrew T. Robinson, who survives.
Mrs. Robinson was a life member of the Haymarket Baptist Church where she served in many capacities, including teaching Sunday school, cooking and volunteer work.
Surviving besides her beloved husband of 68 years, Andrew T. Robinson, Sr. of Haymarket, are three daughters, Ann Williams and her husband Jim of Falls Church; Betty Jean Payne and her husband Eugene of Gainesville; Mary Katherine Klesyk and her husband Richard of Warrenton; one son, Andrew Robinson, Jr. and his fiancé Shelby Sides of Manassas; one brother, Lester Pullen of Tennessee; four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-grandchild expected in November; and Florence Duah, caregiver to Mrs. Robinson for over 5 years.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 25th, 2010 at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 26th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Haymarket Baptist Church, 14800 Washington Street, Haymarket, with Rev. Dr. Charles D. Stewart officiating.
Interment will follow in Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas, VA.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the Haymarket Baptist Church, 14800 Washington Street, Haymarket, VA 20169.
