He is survived by his parents, Donald “Mark” Sturgill and Michelle Root Sturgill, as well as three brothers, Mark, Michael, and Mason. He is the grandson of Alan Root, Donald and Karen Sturgill, and Robert and Suzanne Olson. Memorial services will be held at Fairlington United Methodist Church, 3900 King street, Alexandria, VA on July 1st, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairlington United Methodist Church.
