Barbara Janice  Kislowski (Klein)
Barbara (Klein) Kislowski of Bristow, Virginia passed away on May 19, 2020 at INOVA Haymarket Medical Center.

Born on November 6, 1948 in Hartford, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Rose Klein and Edwin Peterson, Sr. She grew up in Paterson, New Jersey and attended Eastside High School, Class of 1967 (Lean on Me, the movie, was made of the school she attended).

Known to her family as Mrs. Clean, she was very meticulous about her home. She never liked when people would walk in with their shoes on. She also loved working outside in her beautiful gardens as she was a perfectionist. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many and always available to help out when she was needed.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Raymond Sr.; their sons, Marty (Claudia) of Colorado, Raymond, Jr. (Candice) of North Carolina, Joseph (Christene) of North Carolina, Steven (Maria) of Virginia and daughter-in-law, Laura Kislowski also of Virginia. Also surviving are half siblings Paul Peterson, Edwin Peterson, Jr., James Peterson ; sister, Susan MacDonald; grandchildren, Cierra, Thomas, Raymond III, Michael, Matthew, Ashley, Hunter, Nicholas, Mia, Jace, Amy, Kaylee and Victoria; and four great-grandchildren.

Private Graveside and Interment services will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas, Virginia.
