Obituary for Betty Hall

Betty Hall
Betty Dolores Chaillet Hall, age 93 passed away peacefully on Monday morning 29 August 2022 in Manassas, VA. She was born on 26 October 1928 in Washington D.C. in the Congress Heights area.

Betty is survived by her husband of 71 years Andrew F. Hall Sr., daughter Betty C. Hall, and son Andrew (Drew) F. Hall Jr., two granddaughters, Pauleen J. Kramer, Tonya A. Collins, and six great-grandchildren Kambron R. Kramer, Kalvin A. Kramer, Ace Collins, Summer Collins, Cane Collins, Madison Collins, and her sister Joan Stanley of Ft. Washington, MD.

Betty was an artist, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a beautiful heart that was always there for anyone. She is the strongest person that was known by her family and friends. She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to anyone she knew, and had a great love for animals.

Betty worked as an administrative assistant in various locations, Acacia Ins. in Washington D.C., Navy Yard in Washington D.C. and for the USAF in Japan. She took the job in Japan to follow her now husband of 71 years, Andy. They married while in Japan in 1951.

Betty would always tell you she was the beginning of the second row of kids in her family. She was number six of ten children to Edward and Lena Chaillet.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and anyone who knew her.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
