Betty Lee  Mayhugh
Betty Lee Mayhugh passed away at the Fauquier Hospital on February 23, 2022.

She was in Afib and suffered multiple cardiac arrests.

She was born July 21, 1936, in Aden, Va to the late Charles Walter & Florence Croushorn.

Betty was the oldest of five children. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Allen Mayhugh and her husband Robert Lee Mayhugh, Sr. She is survived by two of her children Robert Lee Mayhugh, Jr and Carol Ann Pauley, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Buddy Croushorn, Charlotte Jones, James Croushorn and Charlie Croushorn, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Betty continued through school to some college. She was an accomplished musician. She played piano in church since she was 10 years old, which amounted to over 60 years. She played for and led choir. She taught music for Victory Baptist Schools for a time, as well as private lessons.

Betty loved the Lord Jesus! She, along with her husband taught her children Biblical values and kept them in church. They had Bible devotions with them. Their desire was that their children would know and love Jesus with all their heart, soul and mind. Betty desired for others to know Christ, as well.

Betty was a giver. She loved to crochet and gave many of her afghans away as gifts.

She loved buying gifts and cards to send to others.

She loved gardening flowers, as well as vegetables and some fruit trees. She loved to get together with friends, along with her husband. They both loved to laugh with them and have fun.

Everyone who knew Betty, loved her. She will be greatly missed!
