Obituary for Bridget Ann Trail

Bridget Ann  Trail
Bridget Ann Trail, a longtime resident of Manassas, passed away at the age of 79 on April 8th, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in the Bronx, New York and graduated from Mamaroneck High School in 1958 and began working as a stewardess for United Airlines.

She married Ray Trail on August 21, 1960 and together they raised their three daughters. Being a wife, mother and homemaker was her passion.

Bridget was an active member of All Saints Catholic Church and served as a eucharistic minister and CCD teacher. Sharing her faith and ministering to others was her life’s mission.

Because she loved learning, she continued her education by obtaining a certificate in theology and also attended classes at NOVA Community College. She was employed by NOVEC and retired in 2001 after 20 years as an Energy Management Specialist.

Bridget is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ray; three daughters, Deborah Burroughs and her husband Neal, Maria Hawkey and her husband Andy and Jennifer Innamorato and her husband Andrew; 5 grandchildren: David Counts and his wife Tracie, Jennifer Wurie and her husband Chernoh, Justin Innamorato and his wife Melissa, Krista Shires and Rebecca Innamorato; 6 great grandchildren: Sabrina, Kylie, Bailey, Bryce, Jamessin and Eliza; 1 great great granddaughter, Erin; 7 step grandchildren: Joshua, Justin, Robert, Ryan, Kelsi, Sullivan, Robbi; 9 step great grandchildren: Penelope, Theodore, Riley, Chase, Elijah, Peyton, Jackson, Ella and Natalie.

She is also survived by her siblings; Genevieve Tkach, Rose Calvini and Frank Sala; sisters in law; Lenna Shelor, Marlene Jones, Peggy Casey and her brother in law L.C. Trail and his wife Shelby.
Bridget is predeceased by her father and mother, Nicola and Mary Sala and one brother, Charlie Boy Sala and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family is holding a private service to commemorate their beloved Nana.
