Condolence From: Rita Knott
Condolence: True friends are the bulwarks of our life. Time passes. Life goes on. Bridget and I began our adult lives as "roomies:" flying as stewardesses for an airline circa 1960. We bonded in so many ways, spiritually and culturally. Sharing a house with two others, it could have been a remake of the movie "Animal House."

Room-mates came and went, but we remained "good friends" who could talk until the morning hours. We phoned sisters "Rose or Gen" to help us remember what movie star played in what role at ungodly hours. Bridget, dating Ray, the cop on the beat, would keep us nourished with "Mighty Mo's" from the drug store across the street. Making so little salary,, we would subsidize our groceries with "apple sauce and pudding" from the Baby Kits we had aboard. Occasionally, a role or two of toilet tissue ended up in our largesse. To this day, toilet paper remains a precious commodity. I can hear us both laughing with this entry even as I write.

Being a new "widow" and "downsizing", I found a snapshot photo of Ray's and Bridgets wedding day. There were four of us: bride, groom, best man and "mwah"as maid of honor. Had I not sent it to Ray, I would have posted here.

Friends are like precious gold. Bridget was my gold nugget that will always remind me how valuable good friends can be. Am wrapping Ray and his children in soft layers of love, prayers and friendship.

Bridget: God has you in his arms and I will always carry you in my heart......my golden best friend. Rita Knott

Condolence: Hey Ray, Sheree and I are so sad to here of the passing Bridget. She was a very special person and was always very cordial and caring to all. I recall when Bridget would drop you off on Sundays so we could ride together when we were attending the State Police Academy. I recall they were always sad Sunday evenings. We are praying for you and your family. Take Care Brother! Preston Everhart

Condolence: Dear Ray and Family,
Bridget was one of the most amazing women I had the pleasure of meeting! I met her 10 years ago in a Life in the Spirit seminar. I was always amazed at how well put together she was. Always fashionable, but more, always with a big smile on her face and the joy and the peace of the Lord surrounding her. She loved deeply. She loved each person in that group well! The Fruit of the Spirit was very apparent in her life. She radiated Jesus wherever she went! I know in my heart she was greeted by Jesus with, "Well done my good and faithful servant!"

Condolence: Bridget was one of the most kindhearted, sweetest persons I've ever met. Having both worked at NOVEC for many years, our paths didn't cross very often during the work day. But whenever my family and I did run into Bridget and Ray at a company function or after church or while just out and about, it was, as I think back now, as if we were visiting with "Aunt" Bridget and "Uncle" Ray. Always with a great smile asking how our family was. What a wonderful, sincere lady who wore her faith on her sleeve and so obviously loved her family very much. Our deepest sympathies and prayers for you Ray, Debbie and the entire family. George Herr and family.

Condolence: I was seven years old when I first met Bridget and would see her often at All Saints Church. Years later, when my Papa died, she was a great comfort and would call and pray with me over the phone from her NOVEC desk. That wasn't the only time that would happen. She sent many plumbing customers my way and one of them was her daughter, Maria, who would become my wife. It's not a stretch to say I have Bridget to thank for that wonderful blessing.
So thank you, Bridget, for welcoming me into such a wonderful family. It's with this family that we grieve your loss. Your wonderful example of the Christian faith is the way I'll always remember you and trying to live that faith is the way I'll honor your memory. I look forward to seeing you again!

Condolence: My dearest mother, thank you for giving me life, supporting me, and loving me. Andy and I love you so very much. Because of you, I have a deep faith that can not be shaken. Because of you, I have two beautiful children, Justin and Rebecca, of whom I am very proud. Your spirit, your beauty, and joy for life lives on through my sweet grandchildren, Bailey and Bryce. You always told me, "to whom much is given, much is expected." I will constantly aspire to be as strong, brave, and giving as you were in your lifetime. You also used to say, when times got difficult, "this too shall pass." I love you will all my heart, today, tomorrow, and always. Love you, Jen and Andy
