Carl Gerald "Jerry"  Gemmati, Jr.
Carl “Jerry” Gemmati, Jr., 72, of Gainesville, Virginia passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on January 28, 2022. Born on October 10, 1949, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was the son of the late Carl and Janet Gemmati.

Jerry graduated from Trott Vocational School in 1968. After graduating high school, Jerry joined the United States Navy and served on the USS King. After the service, he worked with his dad as an electrician and later joined IBEW 237. In 2007, Jerry and his wife moved to Virginia, where he worked as a construction analyst for the SBA Disaster Assistance.

Jerry enjoyed traveling with his wife to many destinations. In addition to traveling, he also found joy in decorating for the holidays, especially at Christmas time. In his spare time, he liked to tinker around in the garage. Above all, Jerry especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sally (Jeckovich) Gemmati; his children Carl (Laura) Gemmati, Chris (Faith) Naus, Jenn (Jeff) Simone, Kevin (Jen) Naus, Anthony Gemmati, and Susan Gemmati; his grandchildren, Dominic, Kamdyn, Gianna, Talia, Jeralamo (JJ), Carter, Shaunah, Teaghan, John, Cherish, Hope, Josh, Hailey, Brooklyn, Colin, Mya, Madison, Makenzie and Noah. He is also survived by his brothers Mike and Phil Gemmati. He was predeceased by his brother Tom Gemmati.

A Celebration of his life will be held at a date and time to be announced.
