Carol Jean Dwyer
Carol J. Dwyer of Bristow, VA, died March 11, 2023, at UVA Haymarket Medical Center. Born October 7, 1940, in Jackson, GA, she was the daughter of the late M. Lois Whidby Byrd and Willis E. Byrd.

She was a devoted U.S. Marine wife for 44 years before her husband, Joseph M. Dwyer, passed in 2015.

She is survived by her daughter Michelle R. Warren, son J. Jason Dwyer, brother Rodney Byrd, grandchildren Karlyn Lasher, Keri Peach, Mackenzie Webb, Tyler Austin, Logan Dwyer, and great grandson Mitchell Taylor.

Loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother…she will be dearly missed.
