Dear Family,
Please forgive my extreme tardiness in sending this message to you? A number of things came up for me to handle.
I wanted you to know how very dedicated and committed your loved one was in providing service to her fellow Annie B. Rose House residents. For many years, Ms. Wicks was the "Floor Captain" for the fourth floor which entailed checking to see if residents had put out their "I'M OK" signs every morning and turning them over for residents to take in and place out on their doorknobs the next morning. She was vigilant in informing me or the management office if a resident had not put out their sign so we could physically check on the resident.
Additionally, Ms. Wicks distributed flyers for me on floors 1 - 4 and she also put out the sign-in sheets that visitors were asked to sign coming in and leaving out of the building. She always made sure that ABRH staff replenished her with sheets in a timely manner. She was so dedicated that when asked to be relieved of those tasks, it was hard to find someone else who would be so dependable.
We at Annie B. Rose House are so grateful to have known and been involved with Ms. Wicks over the many years!

Mommy Carol,

I thought my mom and I would be able to visit you one last time but God had other plans. I’m thankful to have had you in my life as my great-aunt. Part of me wouldn’t be who I am today if it wasn’t for you. I miss you. I love you.
