Condolences

Condolence From: Rick Steele
Condolence: I was sad to see this posted in Shipmate. LT Meyers was my 22nd Company Officer when I was a plebe at the Naval Academy. I did not have much direct interaction with him (I was a plebe, after all :>), but he helped me through some especially difficult times when my father passed away. Will always remember him for that.

Condolence: My Dear Friend... You will never be forgotten. The stories will further memorialized you with the passing of each year that we are all here without you. In time, we will all meet again to laugh and enjoy what God truly has in store for His faithful servants...none more faithful than you.

Condolence: The best of the best. I can only hope to have a fraction of the outpouring of love and grief that Charlie is receiving. If a man is judged by the love he inspires, Charlie is at the top. You touched so many lives. Your time with us was so good. May you be amply rewarded in Heaven. RIP friend.

Condolence: The Parting Glass - Oh all the money that e'er I spent I spent it in good company And all the harm that e'er I've done Alas, it was to none but me And all I've done for want of wit To memory now I can't recall So fill to me the parting glass Good night and joy be with you all Oh all the comrades that e'er I've had Are sorry for my going away And all the sweethearts that e'er I've had Would wish me one more day to stay But since it falls unto my lot That I should rise and you should not I'll gently rise and I'll softly call Good night and joy be with you all Good night and joy be with you all
