Condolence: My heart breaks for your family. I am a co-worker of Sue and have only briefly known her and although I did not know Collin personally, Sue spoke of her sons with such pride I know that he was a wonderful man. Losing a child is the worst pain a mother could possibly endure since it is not meant to be. I pray that your family can come to peace with this tragic loss and hope that you will find strength out of this darkness through your faith knowing that you are in his grip and that he is in heaven. My prayers are with you and your family. Please let me know what I can do. I am here to listen if you need to talk anytime.

Condolence: The death of someone young especially hurts for the tragedy of a lifespan not fully lived; there is so much of life ahead. But our loving Creator promises that “he will swallow up death in victory.” (Isa 25:8) Picture the scene as friends and relatives, once separated by death, embrace one another again (1 Kings 17:17-24). The Bible’s promise of a resurrection does not remove the pain from your hearts. But try to imagine the happy reunion when Collin is welcomed back into the loving arms of friends and relatives! The thought of being able to hold him again can make your pain easier to bear. My deepest sympathy to the family.

Condolence: Collin was an exceptional young man and a joy to be around. He would frequently stop by my office in his work capacity, but from that we developed a quick friendship. He was encouraging huniurs, and always ready to laugh. Like everyone, I was shocked by his untimely passing. The entire family will be in my prayers in the days ahead and anytime I think of Collin.

Condolence: So sad to hear of the Collin's passing. I'm the City Administrator in Hallettsville, TX. He would visit with me occasionally to check in to see if I needed anything. He would bounce into my office with a smile on his face and talk to me like I was an old friend. Great energy and just a positive, happy guy. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and close friends.

Condolence From: LTC (RET) Vanessa F. Hicks-Callaway
Condolence: Collin Kennedy will live on in my memory as one of the most remarkable young men I ever met. Collin and I worked together for nearly two years in the Office of Congressman Blake Farenthold in Victoria, Texas. Collin had a zest for life and loved his family dearly-he spoke of them/you daily with admiration and love. I am so sorry he is gone. I thank God for allowing me to be blessed to have known and worked with him for as long as I did. He was and will always be a treasure to me. It is not the years of life you live that matters the most, it is the life in the years you live that matters the most. Collin Kennedy met that standard. May God strengthen you all during this difficult time. Sincerely, LTC (Retired) Vanessa F. Hicks-Callaway

Condolence From: Jeanne Raley
Condolence: I met Collin when he first went to work for Congressman Farenthold. It did not take long before Collin and I were friends who would meet for lunch or dinner and solve the problems of the world. I was saddened when he decided to leave Texas but knew that I could always call him. He was so exited to be going to D.C. area and being with his family again. Collin always had a smile on his face and I don't know anyone who didn't absolutely love him. Collin was my friend and I'm devastated by his loss. We had so much in common; Irish, Catholic and political junkies. I will miss him. My heartfelt sympathies to his family. I will keep you, and Collin, in my prayers.

Condolence: We here at Servicenow Vienna’s Office, are truly sorry to hear of the loss of Collin. I was one of the first to meet Collin at the reception when he came for the first time to the office, and it was a wonderful opportunity to learn a bit about him. We talked a lot about his background, politics and his aspirations. I’m very saddened by his early departure. I’d like to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire family as you struggle through this period of shock and grief. I hope and pray that our Lord brings to you all the much-needed peace during this sad time.

Condolence: We have had your family in prayer since I received the news on Sunday. Collin was a new member to our team and full of life and enthusiasm. Although only with us a short time he will be missed greatly. We are not all located in the area (I live in NC) but know that my heart is with you in the coming days and weeks as you mourn the loss of an outstanding young man. May God give you comfort and peace to be reminded of Collin’s zest for life and living it to his fullest. Words can not replace your son and brother but may you find some smiles amidst the sadness knowing he was a joy to so many. God Bless your family and close friends and may He wrap you in His arms to see you through the days ahead.
