Obituary for Craig Charles Newton

Craig Charles  Newton
Craig Charles Newton, 65, passed away unexpectedly in December 2020 in Manassas, VA.

Craig was born to Richard and June Newton in Encino, CA. As a youth, he lived in CA, Turkey, and Pakistan eventually settling in Northern Virginia.

He is survived by his long time girlfriend, Sharon Surber, two sisters, a daughter, 3 grandchildren, 2 nephews, a niece, 3 great nephews and 1 great niece.

Craig enjoyed playing drums in a few local bands in his younger days. Eventually he settled into the world of construction doing millwork and general construction. His last job was with Michaels, working in the warehouse department.

Craig was an active member of the Living Faith Church, volunteering much of his time to helping others. He also attended services at Love Church. He was a volunteer with the local Homeless Ministries as well.

Donations in memory of Craig can be made to his church. Please make gift payable to Living Faith Church with a note that it is in memory of Craig Newton and mail to 10266 Battleview Parkway, Manassas, VA 20109.

A private memorial service will be held for the family at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Manassas, VA.
