Obituary for Cynthia Rose Hudzina

Cynthia Rose  Hudzina
Cynthia (Cindy) Hudzina of Bristow, VA was born on September 6, 1946 in Pittsburgh, PA and was raised in Connellsville, PA. Cindy was the daughter to the late Harold and Mabel Rose and step daughter to Pauline Rose.

Cindy graduated from Durbin Secretarial school and then came to Washington, DC to work for the Federal Government for nearly 50 years before retiring in 2015.

Cindy was a bright light to all that she encountered. A friendly loving soul who loved to host get togethers with her family and friends. Cindy was a serious Redskins football fan, loved to shop, and go on yearly vacations to Ocean City, Maryland with her family. Cindy was a maternal figure to children that were not even hers; demonstrating exceptional kindness and the comfort of giving and receiving hugs.

Cindy is proceeded in death by her brother Harold (Bud) Rose, survivors include her husband of 42 years Steve Hudzina, son Michael Hudzina and his wife Julie Korona of Bristow, VA, brother Bob Rose of Columbia, SC, twin sisters Patricia Miller and Paula Childs both from Connellsville, PA as well as a host of relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday April 9, 2021 at 11:30am at Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172)
