Dale E. Fleming, 77, of Manassas, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, from a recent illness.

Funeral services will be held at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia on Saturday, March 14, 2020. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a prayer service following at 1:00 p.m.

Dale was born on June 24, 1942, in Pana, IL. He was one of six siblings growing up to the parents of John Edward Fleming and Irene Margaret (Kramer) Fleming.

Dale is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Terrie A. Fleming, of Manassas, VA and his four sons; Troy Fleming of Oreana, IL, Darren (Brenda) Fleming of Mt. Zion, IL, Rodney Fleming of Mililani Town, Oahu, HI, and Michael Fleming of Edinburg, VA.

Dale was blessed with six grandchildren; Shante (Horace) Wouignanou, Dezi Fleming, Tiffany (Jim) Tocco, Taylor (Trent) Younker, Andrew Fleming and Ayden Fleming. He was even greater blessed with three great-grandchildren; Delaney Fowler, Adalyn Fleming, and Emmaline Tocco.

Dale is also survived by four of his siblings; Dolores Hertz, George (Lynette) Fleming, Joe (Teri) Fleming, and Deborah (Victor) Rienbolt.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, John and Irene Fleming; sister, Marie Swiney and daughter-in-law, Michelle Fleming.

Dale was a loving husband, father, friend, and mentor for so many people. Throughout his life, he was employed at IBM, Morrison Knudsen (MK), Micron, and Lowes. He was a great leader and very hard working employee with many friends and co-workers who could always count on him for guidance, an honest opinion, and a good laugh. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going on occasional fishing trips.

He will be missed by his family and friends who knew him.
