Daniel Bai  Kamara
Daniel Bai Kamara, age 25, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Manassas, Virginia.

Daniel is survived by his parents Michael Kamara, Sr. and Tanneh Kamara, his siblings Michael Kamara, Jr. Mauricea Moore, Emmanuel Kamara, and Stephan Duran, as well as his aunts Jugbe Smith, and Adama Kungbana, uncles Wreh Smith and Michael Smith, nieces Faith Wright, and Tyleia Kamara, nephews Michael Kamara, III, and Kamaka Kamara, cousins Patricia Smith-Williams, Carolyn Smith, Bernard Koroma, Joy Taylor-Roberts, Nadia Taylor-Warburton, Leslie Taylor, Franklin Taylor, and Megan Skepple and friends David Blow and Mia Nicole Bumbray.

Daniel was born on June 21, 1995 in Brooklyn, New York to Michael Kamara, Sr. and Tanneh Kamara. Daniel was the youngest sibling and he enjoyed life and cooking. Daniel and his family relocated to the Manassas area in 2008. Daniel enjoyed playing football, which he did in middle and high schools. Daniel was a student at Northern Virginia Community College. In addition, Daniel was a proud graduate of the Year Up Program at the NVCC Woodbridge Campus. Daniel enjoyed interacting with his peers and faculty. Daniel recently began his career as a Cybersecurity Analyst, which he loved.

Daniel was known as a gentle soul to anyone he came in contact with. He was very helpful to his friends and family. He enjoyed experimenting with various meals that he made for his family. In his personal time, Daniel enjoyed spending time driving to Front Royal or Battlefield Park to take pictures, listening to music, going out to eat with his friends and family, watching the NBA leagues (“go KNICKS!”), playing video games, and spending time with his niece.

Services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021, at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Rd., Manassas, VA 20110. Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the family requests that those that cannot attend the funeral service, please join them at 12:30 p.m. at the interment in Bright View Cemetery, Inc., 8265 Lunsford Rd., Warrenton, VA 20187.
