Obituary for David William Hayes
David William Hayes, born in Eagle Point, Wisconsin, the son of Florence and Leslie Hayes.
Upon graduation from High School, he enlisted in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany, where he met his wife, Gisela.
After an honorable discharge from the Army, the family settled in Virginia, where they raised their three children.
David worked for many years in Auto Parts Sales in Fairfax and Manassas.
He loved his family and enjoyed playing with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was not afraid to jump on a metal saucer and fly down the hill in the snow laughing. Vacations were always an adventure, he was up for fun fishing, boating, skiing, and going to theme parks with the kids.
He is survived by his wife, Gisela; his children, Manuela, Patrick, and Kevin; his three grandchildren Jessica, Tyler, and Tanner and two great-grandchildren, Michael and William. David also has two surviving sisters and one brother.
He will be forever in our hearts.
