Obituary for Diana Holly Alexy (Oliver)
Diana Holly Alexy, 60, died July 12, 2022, at Prince William Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
She was born December 9, 1961, in Alexandria, VA, to John and Juanita Oliver.
Diana loved spending time with family and friends. Her laugh was infectious and brought joy to everyone she encountered. Noone was quicker with an uplifting word or a compliment than Diana. She always had an ear to listen and would do anything for the people she loved.
Vacations with her husband, family, and friends were highlights of Diana’s time. She took the best photos of sunrises at the beach whether it was the Jersey Shore with her husband, the Outer Banks with her family, or anywhere else she was invited with her amazing group of friends.
Diana was married previously and had her son, Greg. In 2011, she remarried John Alexy. They built their life together in Manassas where she kept him in line and out of trouble.
She loved her comfy clothes, fuzzy socks, and candles. Diana was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband John Alexy, her children Gregory Faith, Steven (Elizabeth) Alexy, and Johanna Alexy, her grandchildren Emily Compton, Maci Compton, Wyatt Compton, Luke Compton, Carolyn Faith, Avery Faith, Barrett Alexy, and Tucker Alexy, her nephews Derek Stine and Kolton Stine, her father John Oliver, and her sisters Anna (Shannon) Day and Kathy Oliver.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Oliver, and mother, Juanita Oliver.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Monday July 18, 2022 at Baker Post Funeral Home in Manassas.
