Condolence: Eric was one of the first friends I made after moving to the DC area after college in 1993. I worked part-time at the healthy club where Eric ran the pool. We spent many a day playing racquetball, chatting at the pool where I used the jacuzzi to recover from workouts, and discussing politics (our views aligned). I was saddened to see he not only caught Covid-19, but was in ICU. I reached out to Danelle to tell Eric I was thinking about him, and almost immediately he FaceTimed me. I'm so glad he did and that we had a chance to chat, as the next day he was intubated. True to Eric's nature, that FaceTime call was helpful to me as I'm glad we got to speak one last time. RIP my friend. You were well loved while on this earth. --David Lusk

Condolence: To Dannelle and Family - I am so sorry about Eric's passing. I will always remember his smiling face at Boy Scouts and how much fun he was to be around. Most of all, I remember how much he loved you and the boys. Eric will be truly missed by many.
With deepest sympathy,
Leslie & the Corrigan Family

Condolence: I have known Eric for close to 30 years. I will miss his humor and his ability to live his life in a way that he enjoyed. He cared about other people, he sat at the hospital with my wife during my heart surgery and called her when he noticed that Aldi's was selling my favorite hard to get snack. I could never ask or be lucky enough to have a better Brother-in-Law. I will miss his "young at heart" persona. He will always be in my heart and mind. He was a REAL MAN and human being. Rest easy my friend and say hi to all of the Golden's in heaven with you. We love you, M,M,L,M,V.

Condolence: I worked with Eric at the Arlington Swimming Pools in the 80s, he worked at Wakefield and I worked at Washington-Lee. Occasionally we worked together & during those times we laughed a lot. Eric was always fun to be around. Eric was good friend with a big heart to everyone! We reconnected on Facebook and it was like no time had passed. He shared about his family and he was full of love talking about them. Eric will be missed. My heart goes out to the Golden family. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers. My Eric Rest In Peace 🙏
