Obituary for Ethel Stevens Powers

Ethel Stevens Powers
We regretfully announce the passing of Ethel Stevens Powers of Manassas, VA on April 20, 2022.
She was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully at home after a short illness.

Our mother, Ethel, was one of the kindest women to ever walk this earth and we were blessed to have her as the head of our family.

She was a stay-at-home mom who dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She met and married Michael R. Powers as a teenager and together they went on to have 5 children. We will never be able to fill the space left behind by her.

She is survived by her son Mark and wife, Jennifer of Manassas, VA, daughter Kimberly Lambert also of Manassas, VA, her daughter Tammy Davis and husband, Donald of Martinsburg, WV and her son Jeff and wife, Michelle of Charles Town, WV, as well as 13 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Her first great great-grandchild is expected soon.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Michael Powers, her son Mikie Powers, and her grandson Daniel Bowers.

Visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, VA. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Highway, Manassas, VA.
Pastor Mark Boyd will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
