Obituary for George Clarence Sternecker
George C. Sternecker, age 88, passed away on April 18th, 2021. He lived with his daughter Mary and son-in-law Charlie in Haymarket, Va. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carmela R. Oliveri-Sternecker. He leaves behind two loving children. Daughter, Mary and son, George and daughter-in-law, Marie.
He was the proud and loving grandfather to Jennifer, George Jr., Brian and Vincent.
He was also a loving great-grandfather to, Tyler, Anya, Matt, Lucas and Emma.
He loved to be surrounded by his family. He thoroughly enjoyed taking as many pictures as he could of his family to preserve memories. He was an avid fisherman, swimmer, and bowler. He loved to watch old western movies and listen to Johnny Cash.
He will be missed by his entire family. Dad, RIP. Your loving daughter, Mary and son George. Until we meet again. We love you.
