Obituary for Gerald Michael Windsor

Gerald Michael Windsor
Gerald Windsor, 58 of Manassas, VA, went home to be with the Lord on February 16th, 2022.
He had a deep love for the Lord and devoted his life to learning and sharing the Word of God. He will be dearly missed for his passion for Jesus, his goofy-nature, and the way he could provide a laugh to all people. He was a great father, friend, and loved people wholeheartedly.

Gerald was born on April 27th, 1963, to Gerald Garner Windsor and Barbara Jean Windsor in Washington, DC, residing in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He moved to Virginia and resided there for most the remainder of his life.

Gerald was preceded by his mother, Barbara Windsor. He is survived by his father - Gerald Windsor, Brother - Steven Windsor, Former Spouse - Denise McNeal, Children: Son - Alexander Windsor, Daughter - Marissa Windsor. Also surviving is his girlfriend, Kelly Wagner.

Gerald worked 21 years at BMC Software, as a software support technician and was loved by his coworkers and customers. He also had a passion for trees, warm weather, and eating a good meal out with friends and family. He was commonly found making people laugh through his jokes, or even better - lovingly annoying and teasing the ones closest to him.

We have peace that Gerald is delighting in his new heavenly body, in the home he often spoke of, that the Lord had prepared ahead of him. His family and friends are at a loss for words for how much Gerald’s presence will be missed, but we do have deep joy that he is with the One he loved the most, and that we will one day rejoin him in heaven for eternity. He is now in the presence of His Creator and has been made perfect with God.

Services will be held at Park Valley Church, 4500 Waverly Farm Drive, Haymarket, VA 20169, on Friday, February 25th, at 10:30am. He will be buried at Stonewall Memory Gardens 12004 Lee Highway, Manassas, VA 20109. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the following Christian organizations, as Gerald was deeply passionate for Jesus and those that supported the spread of the Gospel.
