Grace Jennings, who lived just shy of 91 years of age, passed quietly, painlessly and lovingly surrounded by her children and grandchildren on January 11th, 2019 at Manassas Health & Rehabilitation, where she had resided for 2 years.

Grace was born in Raleigh, North Carolina on March 1, 1928 and was raised in Birmingham, Alabama. After completing high school, Grace and her sister Lynn, moved to Virginia to begin their careers at the Pentagon. Grace retired with U.S. Customs in the early 80's as an Administrative Manager.

Grace had a great love of children, nature, music and words.

Grace is survived by her 2 daughters: Diane (Jim), Sherry (Matt), son Peter (Joanamar), 5 grandchildren: Melissa, Nathan, Amber, Crystal, Dawn, 12 great-grand children and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Mary Emma, her 2 sons Ray and Paul, her husband Carl, her grandson Trevor and her 2 sisters Lynn and Virginia.
