Grace Mullenax Smith, age 91, of Nokesville, VA, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023. She was born May 2, 1931, in Bluegrass, VA, daughter to the late Edward and Tudie Mullenax. She was the 3rd of 7 children.

She went to work for C&P Telephone at the age of 19 in 1949 where she met the love of her life Curtis Donald Smith. They married on February 20, 1952. She left C&P in 1954 to become a homemaker and a mother. After raising their 3 children, she worked for Prince William County Schools as a substitute teacher and then a teacher’s assistant, before retiring.

Sweet & kind to everyone with such a strong faith in Jesus Christ. She was such a fighter and very brave.
A wonderful wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother
