Obituary for Jack Robert Way Jr.

Jack Robert  Way Jr.
Jack Robert Way, Jr. 60, of Manassas, passed away in the early morning hours of June 22, 2019 at the Novant Health – UVA Prince William Medical Center.

Born March 24, 1959 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Jack Robert Way, Sr., and Phyllis Moore Way.

Jack was employed by Lowes Home Improvement Center for over 30 years, serving the company in many different capacities; the most recent being a warehouse attendant. He also was a huge NASCAR fan, and in his spare time, Jack enjoyed yard work and taking care of his home.

Survivors include one son, Jack Robert Way, III (Jackson) and his mother, Brenda Way; five sisters; Barbara Posey of Manassas; Karen Cornett and her husband Ernie of Bealeton; Patricia Ann “Patti” Way-Cook and her husband Steve of Woodbridge; Peggy Way-Williams and her husband Bill of Panama City, FL; Carlene Tierney also of Panama City, FL; one brother, Danny Knight and his wife Donna of West Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service. A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may take the form of a donation to the American Heart Association, Manassas Branch, 8735 Plantation Ln, Manassas, VA 20110.
