Memories of Jimmy by Pat Carey

When I was in eighth grade and Jimmy was in second there was a knock on my classroom door, a gril opened the door and Jimmy stood in the doorway and put his head in and said "Patsy - sister wants you" and I said "What did he do now??"

When I was dating Jim Carey, Jim came to pick me up and walked int he dinning room where they were all playing cards. JImmt said to Jim "what do airplanes do?" and Jim said "fly" and Jimmy said "your's is open!" and sure enough it was.

When I was getting married we asked Jimmy and Dan to be alter boys. Jimmy said "Patsy I've never served a wedding. I don't know what to do. I don't think I can do it" and I said "just follow your brother" Jimmy said "great alright I'll do it".

At a baby shower for my son Andy they invited Aunt Mamie who was older and never went out so there was no one to stay with her. Well here comes Jimmy to do it. THey had a great time there but when it was over Aunt Mamie said "He cheats!". They were playing cards.

Dinner at 3314 was always at 5:30 and you had to be on time. At 5:45 in comes Jimmy standing right beside his father saying "well Dad it was like this" and Dad said "that's okay and sit down". Two days later at 5:45 no Jimmy and Dad said "well Dad it was just like this". Here comes Jimmy at 5:50 walking in and we all started laughing and said "well Dad it was just like this". That's Jimmy.
