Jane Crenshaw

Nick and I were saddened when we heard the news of Jim’s passing. I was around 12 or 13 when Jim came into my life. He became part of our family at the start. Jim was like that Big Brother we never had and he fit the role perfectly. He loved playing games with not only us, but other kids in the neighborhood. He included everyone. Sometimes when he came to visit, he would bring something new for us to try out, for instance: an old motor scooter, which my mom did not appreciate but who cared. We kids loved it. I could tell countless stories of our times with Jim. They were great times and very fond memories that I will cherish forever. I don’t think we can pass a Flea Market or Yard Sale without thinking of Jim. Even though Nick and I will not be able to attend the funeral service, our hearts and prayers will be with Dorothy and family. So to Jim—my brother-in-law, my friend, and my big brother—Godspeed… you will be missed greatly and loved forever. Nick and Jane Crenshaw
