Train Trip
My sister Gretchen and I visited Jean at INOVA on Wed. and Thurs. She told us a story we had not heard before. Our parents had us take the train from DC to Chicago. She guessed our Grandparents picked us up in Chicago. However, Jean was the leader of this trip. I was 1 so Jean must been 12 or 13. She said the ladies in restrooms gave us long looks. And there were the cloth diapers. Our parents did this sort of thing, trusting the kindness of strangers, but all turned out good.
