Jean had a long and full life for which I’m sure we are all thankful. Met her through Dotty Lane and Bobby gave me sad news of her death. Jean was one of the original members of our Red Hat Ladies group and we had some very good times together eating out, going to Strasbourg, Colonial Beach (to Dotty’s beloved cottage) and to the Hilton for shows, not to mention the Senior Holiday Luncheons at our Manassas Community College. Oh and once when we were up on Skyline Drive we all stopped for lunch. Right outside the restaurant was a rather big stone wall. Jean climbed up on it and gave a Marilyn Monroe pose. We were afraid she would fall but she got back down without any help from the rest of us. We all had a good laugh! That’s my best memory of her. I’ll keep that one in my mind. I’m sure you all have some great memories to keep in your hearts, where she will live as long as you all do... My deepest sympathies to you all. Carolyn
