Obituary for Jeffery A. Phillips

Jeffery A. Phillips, of Sumerduck, went home to be with the Lord on May 7th, 2023.
Born on February 13, 1957, in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Orma "Buddy" Phillips and Lee Joy Greathouse. Jeff is survived by his wife, Stella Phillips; his sister, Christine Fabry and her husband Joe; his son, Jeffery "O.T." Phillips; and his daughter, Jennifer Lofton and her husband Keenan.
Jeff never met a stranger, and if you knew him, you knew he would do anything for you. He loved sharing hilarious stories and life lessons and could easily entertain for hours. He was a kind, loving, thrill-seeking man, with a larger-than-life personality and sense of humor. An avid enthusiast of classic cars, motorcycles, and anything fast, he spent much of his time tinkering in his garage. His life-long love for mechanics started after trading a motorcycle for his first car at the age of 14. This interest grew into a career and passion that allowed him to make many friends along the way, which he deeply cared about. He always knew how to have a good time, live life to the fullest, and most importantly how to be an excellent spouse, brother, dad, and friend.

The family will receive friends and family Tuesday, May 16th, 2023, from 5-7 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Bible Baptist Church, 206 Manassas Drive, Manassas Park, VA.
Interment will immediately follow at Midland Cemetery.
