Condolence: Jay's smile was contagious. He loved watching sports and especially his favorite teams. He never left home without his favorite team blankets and he was always a pleasure to take care of. I have many great memories of Jay and his parents (one of my favorite families). It was always a blessing to be able to care for Jay and to visit with his lovely family. May Jay rest in peace and his family find comfort in knowing he is perfect in every way. My prayers are with the family and friends who are grieving. Condolence: I have followed Joseph's journey from the beginning. I am so saddened to hear of his passing. What a battle he fought for the last 16 years. And of course his family and parents fought along side of him. What an amazing young man. My condolences to his friends and family and may he rest in peace. God Bless

Condolence: The thing I will always remember about Specialist Briseno is his magnificent smile. So quiet and strong. We were all there together, trying to figure out what was going on, what we were supposed to be doing. Jay was so calm. Just a beautiful soul.

My heart is so sad at this news of his passing. He is with our maker now, and no longer in pain. And he's with his best friend, Bobby Hicks. I trust they are just being the wonderful boys they were when I met and deployed with. God Bless both of them.

God Bless you, Jay. Rest in peace. You are my hero.

God Bless the Briseno family. Your boy is safe now, and with the Angels.
