Joseph John Krzywicki, 87, of Manassas, devoted husband and father, passed away June 16, 2019 surrounded by his family.
Born December 13, 1931 in Bayonne, NJ, he was the son of the late Stanley Krzywicki and Josephine Albrecht Krzywicki. He graduated from Bayonne High School in Bayonne, New Jersey and served in the Air Force from 1951 through 1959 then went on to graduate from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ with a BS in Electrical Engineering. On February 13, 1960, he married the former Ann C. Mallory in New Jersey.
Joe retired after working for IBM as an engineer for over 30 years. He was an active member of All Saints Catholic Church and obtained 4th degree status with the Knights of Columbus, George Brent Council #5332 in Manassas. He enjoyed the time he spent in service with the Knights of Columbus, helping with bingo and playing in the annual golf tournament. He loved everything about sports including the Yankees and the Giants, photography and travel, making pizzas with his grandkids and telling his newest Grandpa jokes, spending time at Sudley Swim Club and vacationing in Nags Head, dancing with the love of his life, but he was happiest when he could spend his time surrounded by his entire family.
Besides his parents, Joe was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters, Edward Krzywicki, John Krzywicki, Estelle Russotto, Marcella Krzywicki, Anna Lipyanka, Sohpie Krzywicki and Florence Krzywicki.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ann Krzywicki of Manassas; four children; Raymond Krzywicki and his wife Kim of Manassas; Joseph Krzywicki and his wife Bernadette of Sterling; Cheryl Harnish and her husband Bill of Manassas; Sharon Carter and her husband Ralph also of Manassas; 9 grandchildren; Ashleigh, Joseph, Tyler, Marcella, Hanna, Mallorie, Ralph, Brian, Josie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 24th, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 9300 Stonewall Road, Manassas. Rev Lee Roos will be the Celebrant.
Interment will immediately follow at 12:00 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, VA.
