Obituary for Kevin Edward Jackson

Kevin Edward Jackson
Kevin Edward Jackson
7/9/1970 - 9/25/2022

Kevin Edward Jackson, 52, passed peacefully on September 25, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. He fought hard until the end, remained positive, thought only of others, and continually reminded everyone of how blessed his life had been.

Kevin was a man devoted to his family, friends, and Whitener & Jackson, Inc. He was a proud Penn State Smeal College of Business graduate and remained heavily involved with the university through the Penn State Alumni Association. Kevin was also a dedicated Mason with Alexandria-Washington Lodge No. 22.

Though his life was short, Kevin used the time he had well. He loved to travel and was an avid boater, golfer, motorcyclist and cook. Kevin wanted to try everything at least once and lived life to the fullest. He had a wonderful sense of humor, encouraged everyone around him, and made many valued friendships throughout his life. Kevin will be remembered for his laugh, smile, endless stories, and most of all his kind loving heart. Many described him as one of a kind – and they were absolutely correct in that assessment.

He leaves behind a devoted wife of 27 years, Christina Kelly Giddens Jackson, his parents Edward and Paula Jackson, sister Kim (Dean) Rose, nephew Colton, niece Kali, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A private family service will be held at Baker-Post Funeral Home in Manassas, VA. A celebration of life open to the public will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kevin’s memory to the NUT Carcinoma Registry Giving Page online or The Jimmy Fund c/o My Fundraising Page, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-722 (if sending a check, please include the name of the Fundraising Page you would like to support in the check’s memo line).
