In loving memory of Lawrence David Kent

Born to this life on August 3, 1954, and entered eternal life April 3, 2022.

Larry was born in Tucson, AZ and raised in Ft. Washington, Maryland. He attended the Maryland School for the deaf and later went on to college at Gallaudet University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.

He worked as a computer programmer for the US Government. He loved football, superheroes (especially Spiderman), playing games and cards and talking with his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Eugene and Phyllis Kent, and his brother, Martin Kent.

He is survived by his brother, Lloyd Kent of Gordonsville, VA, sister, Jackie DiGiovanni (Gabe) of Roanoke, VA, sister, Kay Kent of Manassas, VA, and many cousins and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Baker-Post Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 10001 Nokesville Road, Manassas, Virginia. A memorial service will begin at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Todd Tennant officiating.

Interment will be private and at a late date.
