Marvin Henry  Pierce
Marvin Henry Pierce, age 64, of Gainesville, passed away at home on April 8th, 2022. Born with a heart of gold in Aschaffenburg, Germany, Marvin was the first to volunteer help to anyone, always going above and beyond. His contagious laugh and playful sense of humor brought joy to all who love him. He proudly served twenty years in the U.S. Navy, and served the Fairfax County Police Department as a Network Telecommunication Analyst for many years.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Sandi Pierce; his children Heather (Darwin), Jesse, Nichole; his grandchildren Skylynn, Ciara, and Breona; his sisters Barbara Hoppes and Christine Pierce; his brother Tim Pierce (Tonya); his best friend and father-in-law James Prater; his beloved dog JoJo; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is preceded in death by his son Joshua Lennon Pierce; his parents, Emerson and Maria Pierce; his sister, Annalisa Pierce; his mother-in-law, Beverly Prater; and his brother-in-law Scott Hutson.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., April 14th, at Baker-Post Funeral Home, 10001 Nokesville Rd, Manassas, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m.
