Mary Alice Farmer of Manassas Park, Virginia born August 28, 1947 quietly passed away at her home on April 20, 2021.

She is preceded in death by; her beloved husband, Don Farmer of forty-five years, her father and mother, Earl and Nellie Boswell of Falls Church Virginia, and Brother, Charles Boswell of Oakton Virginia.
She was blessed with three loving children; Donna J Smith and husband Ronnie Smith of Goldvein Virginia, Karen J Griffith and husband Buck Griffith of Manassas Virginia, and Donnie Farmer Jr and wife Tammi Farmer of Manassas Park Virginia.

Nine grand kids who she thought the world of; Bucky and wife Kaycee, Ronnie, Courtney, Cody and wife Laci, Donald and Cynthia, Kayla and husband JJ, Collin, Kristy, Samantha and husband Jeffery. Six great grandkids that will miss her greatly; Luca, A.J., JuJu, J.W., Easton, Jackson, and two more on the way in 2021.

Two loving sisters; Dorothy Williams of Woodstock Virginia, Bertie Boswell of North Carolina. Three loving sisters- in-law; Patsy and husband Ricky Cunningham, Carol and husband Gary Mainer, Barbara and husband Bill Norton.

Also extended family that were close to her heart including many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted and dedicated member and volunteer of The Love Church on Balls Ford Road, in Manassas Virginia. She loved helping people in need and praying with them whenever she had the opportunity. Her faith in Jesus was always her rock.

Mary worked at Western Pest Services in Fairfax Virginia for many years. She loved her time there and formed close relationships with her co-workers that lasted a lifetime.

She loved supporting her children in every way that she could and watching her grandkids grow and play sports through the years. She always enjoyed company and having a good laugh. Many memories were made on Sunday’s when she would cook dinner for her family. Mary was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Mawmaw, and Great Mawmaw. She loved her family more than you could ever imagine. They were her entire world, every single day!

Go rest now, our dearest Mommy...

We all love you and will miss you so much!

Services will be held at The Love Church on May 1, 2021 located at 11234 Balls Ford Road, Manassas Virginia 20109. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM with the service to follow at 11:00 AM. Family and friends will gather after the service at Mary’s home at 158 Holden Drive, Manassas Park Virginia 20111.

Flowers can be sent to Baker Post Funeral Home beginning Friday afternoon (4/30/21) located at 10001 Nokesville Road Manassas Virginia, 20110.

Memorial contributions in Mary’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park Street SE, Vienna, Virginia 22180.
