Obituary for Michael Denton Belote
Mike (Pappy) Belote of Manassas, VA, 75, born in Memphis, TN, passed away at the Adler Center of Caring, Aldie, VA, on October 6, 2019.
Pappy was a retired Army Veteran and enjoyed his years of retirement being a toymaker who enjoyed bringing joy to children and helping to create family traditions.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sue Belote of Manassas, daughter Stace Belote of Manassas, and two grandsons, Steven and Sean Schmalenberg of Manassas. The family requests that memorials be sent to Capital Caring Hospice Service.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19, at his residence and is open for all to attend.
