Condolence: Rest in peace my friend. We only met once a year or so to play golf but every time you saw Kelly and I, you treated us as we were old friends. Truly a kind soul!

Condolence: Larry and I are so saddened to hear about Charles's passing, and regrettably can't attend the service tomorrow. We have all good memories of him and our time in the crazy van pool with you both, Wendy, and the other IRS-ers. He had the patience of a saint driving us all into work and back home with all the construction on 395 back in the 70's. Our condolences to you and your family.

Condolence: Without a doubt, the nicest, kindest, gentlest guy I’ve ever met. Never heard him say anything bad about anybody. Loved by all. On our golf trips he would beat me like a drum, without even being able to turn his head, and you couldn’t help but marvel at his tenacity, his competitiveness, and his intensity. I never met anyone who didn’t like him and admire his drive and spirit. The only thing he loved more than golf was his family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Wendy and the family. We are all going to miss him.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. We came to National Office at the same time September 1973. I have all these great memories of playing softball and in the IBM vs Honeywell flag football games. If you made a mistake or error, Charlie would be the first to tell you: “Shake it off, we got this”. Great guy. May he rest in peace.

Condolence: Very sad to hear of the death of Charlie. He and Wendy were a great couple. I knew them both from their careers at the IRS. Their time together was cut too short with health issues. Wendy, please let your family and friends help you during this time. God bless.

Condolence: We have all lost a special friend! He was one of a kind to me. I will always treasure, now, the memories of our IRS days together, softball with the ‘reprobates’, golfing, traveling together to and from our oh so many golf trips, moving houses, working with him at SVGC, on and on......!!! I am blessed for having had his friendship. God bless and rest his soul...

Condolence From: Randy Grottke
Condolence: I will truly miss Chuck. He was my roommate on golf trips since 1976, we worked on IRS projects together and he was just a wonderful friend and gentleman. We had some fun times over the years and he was always there if you needed something. Makes me smile to think of some of the things we did over the years. As Charlie would say, He's the bees knees. Well, Charlie was "The Bees Knees". God bless. Randy Grottke
