Condolence From: Carol Reid
Condolence: I was a colleague of Pat’s at Mohonasen and a long time friend Even into our retirement years. I’m sorry I’m not with her family at her funeral service. After school breaks and holidays she would have conversations with me about her times with her nephew and nieces. Her life was enriched by her varied interests, adventures, and travels. She took time to go to a local ski area to give my daughter additional instructions for her downhill skiing skills. My daughter is now a lifelong skier with her own family. Pat would host a group of us at her family’s camp for a fun day and those times are fond memories. I witnessed her as a caretaker for her mother and father and thank her nephew and his family for being there for Pat as she needed more help and advocates. May she rest in peace. Carol Reid

Condolence: I was so sorry to see the obituary in the Daily Gazette that Pat had passed away. Pat and I were friends for many years after we met at the Adirondack mountain club meeting. We camped and kayaked and hiked and had wonderful times together. I will always remember her as a strong independent woman who was so capable and such a good friend. We lost contact with each other when she moved from her home and I am happy that she spent her last years close to her family which she often spoke of. I am so sorry for your loss and I will always remember her kindly.
